Doula training in Washington

You are legally allowed to work in Washington as a birth doula without being certified.  You also do not need a bachelors or masters degree to operate within the state.  Pursuing a certification will add to your professional credentials, however, it is not a state requirement.

The following is a list of educational classes and workshops available in Washington state which can be used towards your doula training.

Course and Workshop Details 

This is a 7 day birth doula training workshop which is required for DONA certification.  This workshop is offered on the following dates:

  • Every Wednesday from March 1 – April 26, 2017
  • Every Wednesday from May 3 – June 21, 2017
  • Every Wednesday from July 5 – August 23, 2017 
  • Every Wednesday from September 6 – October 25, 2017
  • Every Wednesday from November 8 – December 20, 2017
