Cheyenne Johnson

Business Name:  Cheyenne the Doula
Phone:  612-643-0015

Cheyenne Johnson received her DONA-approved birth doula training in 2013, and has attended over 100 births. Her work is inspired by a passion for serving underrepresented communities like LGBTQ families and teen parents. Cheyenne’s background prior to becoming a doula includes serving as Education Coordinator for the Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance, and working as a math teacher for several years.

As a type-A person who has learned to relax, she has taught herself and many others how to release tension and relax. She specializes in guided relaxation between contractions to lower fatigue during labor, aromatherapy, massage, rebozo and other comfort techniques, Spinning Babies Optimal Fetal Positioning techniques, empowering partners to serve and support the birthing parent, and “holding the space” should difficult decisions need to be made.

Services Offered:
Cheyenne the doula provides birth doula and sibling doula services, as well as prenatal yoga classes in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. I also provide photography and postpartum support.
